New Kojima site teases new Metal Gear title

PALGN News | Which console will it be appearing on?
Gaming sites all over the web are in a spin over the glowing green image that has appeared on the Kojima Productions website earlier today - teasing the next entry into the chart-topping Metal Gear series.

The images consists of a green addition formula, with text placed underneath which reads “a next Metal Gear is…” Many are speculating over the origin of the end figure in the formula as it looks to closely resemble both a PC or Xbox 360 power button. While others are convinced that the teaser flash points towards a new addition to the PlayStation Portable’s Metal Gear Ac!d titles thanks to the prominent exclamation point which appears in the formula.

No matter which system the next Metal Gear title lands on, one thing is for sure - gamers will continue to clamour to the web for more answers. PALGN will keep our collective ears to the ground in effort to shed some more light on this exciting tidbit of news.

going to be developed in Spain? By a company who uses green electricity?

could it be that they are gonna port mgs4 to pc and xbox?... by the year 2012?

I reckon this is the 360 port of MGS4 - a special edition like the substance edition of MGS2 on the original xbox...
the formula is green symbolising the MS console along with the power symbol that is on all 360s... the 2 exclamation marks (opposite two each other) could mean 2 dual layer DVDs are needed to get this game over to 360...0

I'd just like to say that the power symbol is common to 99% of electronic devices that can be turned on, it's not just an Xbox 360 thing. I'm looking at one identical to the one on the site on the front of my monitor right now. The PS3's got one, too (albeit not a green one).

Still, I guess a 360 port is the only logical conclusion. A 360 port of what, though. A drastically compressed, multi-disc version of MGS4, or one of the other oodles of Metal Gear games.

It says that it is the "next" Metal Gear title, but I guess this doesn't really rule out a port of MGS4, as it would be the next MGS game in terms of release I guess.

But I'm leaning towards it being a new Ac!d game.

A Metal Gear compilation on 360 would be nice. A Metal Gear Solid 4 port would kind of piss me off right now as I bought a PS3 just over a week ago for the exclusives.

You could draw SO many conclusions from the picture, its so vague for obvious reasons (Kojima you b@stard you love playing with us!).

I mean the upside down ! is like how they are on the wii for heaven's sake.. and the writing says 'the metal gear is..' so the symbol could be talking about the metal gear in the game rather than the system its appearing..

All in all, who cares, if Kojima productions stick to their track record (competing only with Polyphony Digital for longest delays to their games) the next proper Metal Gear game won't be out until PS4/Xbox1080..

Appears to me to strongly suggest the Xbox 360. That would be cool for me as I can't afford or justify a PS3.

i though it was dick and balls + exertion = piss in a toilet. a next metal gear is piss in a toilet.

Just saw this, seriously those exclamation marks have to mean Metal Gear Ac!d. I think so anyways and that's my guess.

Imo Metal Gear Solid 4 for 360 won't happen so they're getting an AC!D game.
