PALGN Feature | What will be there for you to see?
While the biggest gaming expo, E3, is floundering in a state of the unknown, Australia is looking to develop its own big show. The International Digital Entertainment Festival is back again in Melbourne, and it houses the DLS Digital Lifestyle Expo, the Develop Symposium and Industry Showcase and, most importantly for gamers, the 3rd eGames Expo. With each year, the show gets bigger and better, so Australian gamers and interactive entertainment aficionados will finally having something to crow about to their international buddies. PALGN will be at this year’s show, but what else can you expect to see between the 12th and 16th of November?

Apart from eGames Expo, there is the DLS Digital Lifestyle Expo and the Develop Symposium and Industry Showcase and Careers Expo. There will be a whole range of Plasma and LCD TVs, Blu-ray and DVD players and recorders, laptops, mobile phones, music players, sound systems, to home theatre systems, digital cameras and video recorders, TV recorders and a massive range of gizmos and gadgets to see.

The Develop Symposium and Industry Showcase and Careers Expo will present Australia’s industry professionals, key educators and government representatives the opportunity to gain pivotal insight from the world’s leading digital entertainment organisations into the world’s fastest growing economic sector. The Careers Expo will be on Friday 14th through Sunday 16th and is a great opportunity for those interested to find out about the potential career paths that are available in this fascinating and expanding industry.

Will be there all 3 days for sure, last year was awesome with the PALGN crew and I look forward to that again this year.

Also very much looking forward to getting some Resistance games happening.

And would be nice if they actually told us what comps were happening over the weekend.

I know Gamerthon was going to be a part of it but something about running low on time and couldn't happen.
Maybe next year eh.
