This Week's Releases - 6/10/08

PALGN Feature | The court beckons.
This week, two basketball simulators hit retail shelves. First up is Electronic Arts' NBA Live 09 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP and Nintendo Wii. The game features five versus five online team play, over 20 international teams, such as the United States and Spain, and a practice facility where players can improve their basketball prowess. Look out for NBA Live 09 in stores this Thursday.

The next basketball game making its way onto the court is 2K Sports' NBA 2K9. The latest title in the long-running franchise comes with updated AI, an improved graphics engine and a commentary team to guide you through all the action taking place in the stadium. NBA Live 09 is released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 this Friday. In the meantime, check out our preview of the basketball game here.

PC owners can pick up Ubisoft's WWII squad-based shooter Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, which was also released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 a few weeks back. Finally, after a colourful history with the OFLC, the third-person shooter Dark Sector makes its way onto Sony's PlayStation 3 this Friday.

Nothing out this week that I want, so I might preorder Far cry 2 SE and get R&C, and next week I might get Lego batman and Saints Row 2. All the good games are about to come out, and it's gonna cost me a LOT.

Yes, indeed.....I'm getting 4 games within 2 days at the end of the mth.

Then 3 weeks after that another 2-4 games within a week.

So $500 plus will be gone within the course of a month

already pre ordered Far Cry 2 on the PS3 from EB games and Fallout 3 on the PS3 from Playasia...
COD world at war and Quantum of solace also have been preordered to take advantage of the GAME trade deal.
I am waiting for JB Hifi to announce a trade deal for Gears and Resistance in their next catalogue.
The rest would have to be full price buys -
I need a raise !!!!!
