The PALGN Podcast, Episode 45
PALGN Feature | Focus: Star Wars games, a chat with Al Lowe, and Game Ed 101.

In the forty-fifth episode of the PALGN Podcast, we speak to Leisure Suit Larry creator and adventure game designer Al Lowe about his career in the industry. It's an edited version of the full, over thirty minute interview that's included in the podcast - check back on the weekend for a transcript of the complete interview. We also take a look back at the history of Star Wars games with Denny, Tristan and Daniel. Game Ed 101 rounds out our weekly content as well, with a look at the 'games-as-art' debate. We're also continuing our eGames competition this week, so tune in for your chance to win a double pass for a full day at the expo. We also announce last week's winner.
This week, we've used music from the Star Wars: A New Hope Original Soundtrack, with "Main Title" and "Attack of the Sandpeople" being included. Short segments from Leisure Suit Larry 1 (EGA), Leisure Suit Larry 1 (VGA), and Leisure Suit Larry III also used. Our outro remix is also different this week, with OverClocked ReMix (www.ocremix.org) taking a break, and instead the original 8-bit Dark Forces "Imperial March" medley being included.
