For a 30 day limited trial period only, you can enjoy the demo of SOCOM: Confrontation, the ultimate squad-based shooter on PlayStation 3. Featuring intense online battles for up to 32 players, join the best Special Forces units in the world and wage war in a series of stunning backgrounds. The demo is just a taster of what's to come in the full game and is available for a limited time only and will be available shortly.

probably for the best, my connection is pretty average, probably end up droping out a bit because of it.

Dam my capped Internet! I stop trying to keep up with the news when I go over my limit. Oh well, back on now and have just entered, but I guess I'm a day late to this party. Will the story be updated to confirm if/when all the codes have been handed out please?

Yeah you wouldn't think they would release them all at the same time especially considering the download is 2 gig. Could you imagine how long it would take with everyone downloading at the same time.

good to see every1 is so welcoming
but i must say most of the ppl that signed up have played all the socom titles and were the playstation community be4 they released s3 and ruined it for every1 does joining now mean that have less right to try and get a chance at playing the beta we been waiting for this for 4 years

There should have been a requirement that the minimum post count to qualify for a beta code was 20-50 posts. In any case, whos to say the new guys arent all the same person.

In any case 1000 codes, that should be plenty to go around.

Making it a pre-requiste to have a certain amount of posts is ridiculous and would only result in all the noobies spaming the hell out of the forum until they got their required amount of posts and i doudt any of you older members would want that.
