It has been in development for a long time, but Silicon Knights' Too Human finally lands on store shelves this week. Blending melee and firearms combat in real time, the RPG puts you in the role of Cybernetic God Baldur. Hordes of ancient machines are invading, and it's up to players to ensure the survival of the human race. Look out for Too Human exclusively on Xbox 360 this Thursday.

Racing onto Wii, PS3, PSP and Nintendo DS is Ferrari Challenge. The racing title features 16 racing tracks and countless wheels to test out. For the verdict on Ferrari Challenge, head over to our review of the PlayStation 3 version. Also out on Nintendo Wii this week is SoulCalibur Legends and Trauma Centre: Second Opinion.

Finally, the latest game in Electronic Arts' Tiger Woods franchise is released on PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360 and Wii.

While the official release date for Too Human is the 28th, I had my local GAME call me up on saturday morning say the game is available for pickup then.

GameTraders in Perth were selling it on Friday. they had it setup on the demo machine, i gave it another go and the controls still didn't appeal to me, so unless it gets a drastic price-drop or i run out of things to play (both unlikely any time soon) i'll give it a miss.

I got a copy for free on Thursday and played it for 3 minutes before becoming frustrated enough with the controll and combat system that I'm going to wait for the official launch so I can play with mates to make it tolerable
