Not a bad effort! Shows how bias game sales are towards those few massive hits leaving a few scraps for everyone else!

The impressive thing is that SSBB and Kart were on just the one console where as GTA4 was on two.
If you looked at just single console sales, SSBB would have been on top probably...

pretty good there, and before the pc version comes out as well.

Wouldn't it be better to wait to the end of the year to figure out what the highest selling game of the year is?

so their not saying it will be the highest selling game all year they are just saying so far it is and more then likely will end up being the highest selling.

No I get that, but why anounce it now? It just seems kind of random to anounce in August that they're the highest selling game of the year so far.

Were they behind last month? I think it's mainly just the wording that's getting ot me.

Fable 2 might give it a run for its money on 360.

I would have thought all these kinds of stats would be dictated by the financial year rather than the calendar year.

getting in before Wrath of the Lich King launches.
that's probably the only release that will give it a run for the title, imo.

although Brendo is probably correct, financial year typically dictates sales figures.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Mario Kart on top by the end.

Thing's got insane legs, and has been supply constrained.
