EA teaming with Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami on new horror title

PALGN News | Devil May Killer7?
EA has announced a deal with Grasshopper Studios and Suda 51 to produce a new horror IP for Wii, PC, Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. Suda 51, the avant-garde game director whose past works include Killer7 and No More Heroes will serve as director, while Devil May Cry and Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami will produce.

In an interview with 1UP, Suda comments that '...EA's people showed a big interest to my ideas, and they understood what I really wanted to do, and that's how it happened to come to EA'.

The game's name and concept remain unknown, but the promised combination of Suda 51 and Mikami backed by EA-level production values make it a title to watch out for.

The only partner in this collaboration that might spoil the game is EA
I hope they dont influence the game too much - otherwise we will have a bug filled half finished game launched due to financial deadlines!!

You're thinking of the old EA, which is the current Ubisoft. Current EA is, dare I say it, competent.

Agreed, the game could be the start of the next best horror series if EA don't screw it up, fortunatally EA usually leave new games alone and don't screw them up completely till it's already got a fanbase so there's still hope for this one.

EA At the moment is pretty good, I mean a lot of the games I'm really pumped for at the moment are EA games.
