PotW results ponder who The Dark Knight (game developer) could be

PALGN News | While Commissioner Gordon spoils all the fun.
It's completely understandable. As a rumoured avid fan of PALGN's own Poll of the Week, it was only natural for acclaimed actor Gary Oldman (aka "boring Jim Gordon" to the Batfan in you and me) to simply not contain himself any longer -- especially after the past week's PotW switched on the Bat Signal for a fully-fledged game based on The Dark Knight film.

While there's yet a developer confirmed, the snippet of video interview with Mr. Oldman himself, courtesy of G4, at least somewhat assures the restless Batplayers out there that something is on the way.

As far as the final results of the PotW are concerned however, it looks like the PALGN readers will not accept anything less than the rumoured Pandemic Studios at the helm of that particular 'something'.

That said, a somewhat curious movement for Ubisoft brings up Assassin's Creed-like possibilities for a Dark Knight game, with Konami representing the largest stringent of nostalgic support for the Batman videogame franchise.

I watched this movie today and i must clearly say the expectations of me for this game to be awesome is just too high ^^

Speaking of which I wish Capcom will do it, they should of been on that list.

Personally i dont really care who makes the game. I voted Ubisoft, but whatever - as long as its good. I'm such a massive Batman fan and the idea of an open-world environment for the Dark Knight to explore sounds freakin awesome (Spider-Man type games). As long as its dark and grungy and not cartoonish in any way.

I heart Gary Oldman so much. It's never Whiteboy Day when he's around.

I just saw the movie today, and I think a game would probably suck. I loved the movie, but if they made a game they would screw it up. But you never know...
