The PALGN Podcast, Episode 34

PALGN Feature | Retrospective Roundup: Bioshock, Portal, and COD4.
This week, we're absolutely overflowing with content for you PALGN podcast listeners. First up, we have a chat with Luke Mitchell about his Civilization Revolution review. How does it stack up with its PC siblings? And most importantly, how late did Luke stay up playing the game for his review? Next, we chat with Jeremy Jastrzab and newcomer Denny Markovic in the Retrospective Roundup about some of the best first-person titles of 2007: Bioshock, Portal and Call of Duty 4.

We then sit back with the guy who started all this madness, James Peter, and give our listeners an exclusive ear in on the thoughts behind PALGN's recent redesign. Next up for PALGN? Tune in and find out. Lastly, Denny and Jeremy jump back in for a wistful glance at one of their favourite Dragonball Z titles in PALGN's picks, clocking out the podcast at around 42 minutes.

Original Civilization IV music by Christopher Tin. This week, the outro mix is Donkey Kong Country 'Stray Donkey Strut', created by djpretzel and distributed by OverClocked ReMix (www.ocremix.org). For the full bitrate version, why not head over to OverClocked ReMix and download it?

Remember, if you don't want to miss any of our weekly podcasts, make sure to subscribe via your favourite podcasting service, whether it be Apple iTunes, Creative ZenCast, or a GPL alternative such as Juice.

Well, Tristan, if you can manage to keep down basic fluids long enough to join us, we'd be glad to have you. icon_razz.gif And cheers, James.

Suction, thanks. We've been tuning the quality of the podcast for the last little while now. Out of curiosity, when you say 'last podcast', do you mean last weeks, or sometime before that?

I'm really loving the new podcast format guys! I've been a fan for a while now, but the new format, and general "slickness" of the latest iteration makes it probably my favourite podcast to listen to each week.

If you love us so much, why don't you marry us..... Failing that, if you use iTunes, leave a review of the podcast there. Actually, I'm probably more comfortable with the latter option. Go with that one.
