Win one of twelve copies of Battlefield: Bad Company

PALGN Competition | We like those odds.
To celebrate the release of Battlefield: Bad Company for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week, PALGN has gone into Battlefield: Bad Company overdrive. This week we'll be posting up an interview with the developer, as well as taking an extended look at the game, while also delivering new screenshots and videos of the game, we'll also finish the week off with our review for the DICE developed first person shooter.

But that is not all, we're also giving you a chance to win one of 12 copies of the game thanks to EA. Every day all you need to do is click on the gold bar in the relevant Battlefield: Bad Company article. By clicking on the gold bar all you have to do is select what console's you own and enter your details, and you'll be in with a chance to win a copy of the game. We'll be giving away two copies a day, so make sure you check back every day for your chance to win.

For those who are having trouble finding the relevant articles, this will be the place to go to get links to all of our coverage. Everytime we post a new article it will be linked here, so you shouldn't have too many problems finding the relevant articles, remember, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to win.

Battlefield: Bad Company has been built from the ground-up for next-generation consoles using Digital Illusions' Frostbite game engine, Battlefield: Bad Company drops gamers behind enemy lines with a squad of renegade soldiers who risk it all on a personal quest for gold and revenge. Aside from the usual multiplayer modes, Battlefield: Bad Company will also include a fully fleshed out single-player mode, where you control of a squad of renegade soldiers and infiltrate enemy territory to obtain riches as well as revenge.

Hopefully with these many copies up for grabs there will be no need to fight over them..

Any word on who the winners are so far? Or are they being given out at the end of the week?

crosses fingers, arms everything in body and hopes and prays to win 1 copy.

I have entered everyday so hopefully on one of the days a few people forgot! icon_biggrin.gif ahh well i reckon at least 100 people would be entering daily, so the chances are still pretty slim, oh well

Hang on... we have to submit an entry every day for each of the gold bars?

*is confused*

*childishly giggles at 'entry' and 'bar'*

I'm also confused.. does it matter if we enter our details on all the articles days after they were posted or does it need to be on the day?

Are you eligible for 2 copies with each entry or do you need to get all entries for all articles in and then be eligible to win one of 12? icon_eh.gif

^ It's a lucky dip! Will they, wont they. It's like the Dawson's Creek of video game competitions.

Yeah, I'm trying to enter in them all. I assume that's the right way...

...or does that make it unfair..?
You have to enter every day for each of the entries, you're eligible once per day.

sweet, hopefully some people forgot on certain days icon_biggrin.gif

btw are the winners being announced today?

^ I think I forgot on each of the days so far...

Oh wait. 2 a day, 6 articles.. does math... that's it then. icon_sad.gif

I lose.

I've been clicking some and they say article already complete or something.. when i know i hadnt clicked that one before. Hmm. hope it works.

I'd say a few people have missed an article. If somebody has missed a day or two, they've entered their details in two or three separate articles on the same day. Unfortunately, I think I was one of those people and missed one day... I don't know. All I know is that I've entered details in all 6.

Either way, good luck everybody.

Thanks PALGN, im so broke at the moment i cant even afford a copy, so im resorting to competitions that require no skill, just luck.

(which unfortunately, just like skill, i have none of.)
I'm still a little confused here. Did you actually need to get your entry in the day the article was put up to be eligible?

Also I checked some of the older articles to see if I had entered.. clicked the gold to see if it told me 'you have already answered this survey' thing and while some of them did, some didn't and even after putting in my details again it keeps coming up.

Just strange icon_neutral.gif

Well what I'm gathering from what Luke said, yeah I think you may have had to enter the details on the day that the article was released.

Say for example... an article is released and only 8 people (I'd say it'll be a lot more) happen to enter their details on the day. Those 8 people will then go in the draw for the two copies... until the end of the day when the winners are drawn. Let's say another 8 people have entered their details in the same article but a day after... they're too late because the winners have already been drawn.

In saying all of that, if you did enter your details on at least 3-4 articles when they were released you may be in with a chance. Unless you had to enter EVERY survery on their corresponding days, then I reckon a lot of people have miscalculated, therefore missing out on a chance to win a copy.

It doesnt matter if you entered on the correct day or not, but the entries did close yesterday, so as long as it was all filled out by then you're all good.
