E3 2004: Midway Announces E3 Line Up

PALGN News | Midway prepare to show off some of their big guns for E3
Midway Games Incorporated, one of the last companies to show off their E3 list, today announced a list of their future productions that will be seen in the Midway’s E3 Booth this year. The legendry Mortal Kombat franchise will be the main highlight of Midway Games’ booth this year as they prepare to showcase one of the most brutal editions to their series, Mortal Kombat: Deception. The new edition to the Mortal Kombat franchise will welcome the long awaited feature of online play which will enable gamers across the world to finally spill blood, sweat and tears in long glory battles to the death. The booth will also include the highly anticipated Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and first-player action thriller Area 51, which will also include an online feature which will allow up to 16 players to battle it out.

David Zucker, President and CEO of Midway, was proud to announce that this will be one of Midway’s greatest moments as they prepare to reach new goals with these upcoming franchises. "Supported by a tightly focused release schedule, expanded relationships with leading entertainment companies, as well as a strengthened in-house management team, this E3 heralds a new era for Midway”

Midway's E3 product lineup includes:

  • Area 51 (PS2, Xbox)
  • Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (PS2, Xbox, Cube)
  • MLB Slugfest: Loaded (PS2, Xbox)
  • Mortal Kombat: Deception (PS2, Xbox)
  • Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy (PS2, Xbox)
  • Shadow Hearts: Covenant (PS2)
