Oh shoosh. It hurts less to type that title in full than it does to read it.
With a promised price point of just US$19.95 for all versions of the game, including PC, Mac, Linux and yes, the equivalent in 1600 Microsoft points for the Xbox Live Arcade incarnation, PAA - OTRSPOD: E1 shouldn't be too shabby in terms of value for money. Well, unless of course you're used to spending sub 1600 point amounts in your Xbox Live purchases, which admittedly means this may very well be untested wallet-emptying territory for almost every 360 owner's pockets.
Those hoping the personal computer folk will pay for the ramifications of their cross-platform twenty-dollar rolls by the system requirements for playing PAA - OTRSPOD: E1 may also be out of luck. Going by the handy chart thoughtfully laid out by Joystiq, any hardware more or less dating as far back as 2004-2005 will, at the very least, be able to play the game in some sort of 'minimum requirement' capacity. Whether that means without being able to recognise anything on screen, or not being able to read any of the choice Gilbert-designed comedy, remains to be seen.
