This Week's Releases - 24/3/08

PALGN Feature | Ethan Thomas and Kratos return.
First off the blocks this week is Condemned 2: Bloodshot on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Players will again stand in the shoes of investigator Ethan Thomas and be embroiled in a mystery requiring a keen eye and a limitless supply of items that can be turned into weapons. Wander over to our preview here for the low-down on SEGA's new horror title.

Sony is releasing a heap of games over the next seven days, including the anticipated Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on the PlayStation 3 and God of War: Chains of Olympus on the PlayStation Portable. We were lucky enough to preview the driving simulator and Kratos' latest adventure at the eGames Expo last year, so be sure to check them out. Sony's other endeavours for the week include the PlayStation 2 version of Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and Everybody's Golf: World Tour on the PlayStation 3.

Xbox 360 owners can pick up the sci-fi RTS Universe at War: Earth Assault or try their hand at slaying hordes of undead warriors as an ancient Viking in Viking: Battle for Asgard, which is also out this Thursday on the PS3. There is also no shortage of games for those with the aging PS2, including Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, ATV Offroad Fury 4 and Sonic the Hedgehog's Sega Superstars Tennis.

Ok so this week i will be getting Comdemned 2, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and more than likely Hot Shots Golf which i hear is a really polished product.

They are some brilliant games right there.

My anticipation metre for Condemned is more than maxed out. I will be calling the local EB virtually daily to see when the stock arrives. (I am assuming that there is no strict release date for this one?)
