This Week's Releases - 3/3/08

PALGN Feature | Front and centre!
THQ's Frontlines: Fuel of War blasts onto Xbox 360 and PC this Thursday. The first-person shooter is set in a dark future, when Earth's fuel resources are dwindling. Players side with either the Western Coalition or Red Star Alliance in a battle to determine the ultimate winner. For more info on the single player campaign and multiplayer mode, check out our preview from late last year. Frontlines: Fuel of War is also available as a Collector's Edition on both platforms.

This week, gamers can also fight through historically memorable World War II skirmishes in the multi-platform Battle for the Pacific, or fly through the skies of World War I in Red Baron on the PC and Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 owners can play the mercenary in Soldier of Fortune: Payback, while those with any other platform can go hunting in Cabela's Big Game Hunter.

Rounding out the week are another two equally anticipated Xbox 360 games, Bully: Scholarship Edition (also available on the Wii) and Beautiful Katamari. The re-release of 2006's PlayStation 2 title Canis Canem Edit comes with eight new missions, four new classes, and for those with an Xbox 360, a load of new achievements. Finally, anyone interested in buying Beautiful Katamari should check out PALGN's recent review.

Ummm, wasn't Army of Two meant to come out on the 6th? I was waiting for it with my $20 off gift card at JB-Hifi.

It did say the last 2 weeks or so on your pages that the release date was confirmed.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the Wii is very tempting. Suppose to support 480p.

Nice, however is it a justified purchase if you already own Reload?
