This Week's Releases - 11/2/08

Out on the Xbox 360 this week is Ubisoft's medieval title Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements. Heading the show for Sony is the first-party basketball sim NBA 08, available on the PlayStation 2 and 3. Meanwhile, PlayStation Portable owners can get their hands on SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Tactical Strike, which plays more like Full Spectrum Warrior then any previous SOCOM game.

This week's big release on the Nintendo DS is Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, which takes place approximately one year after the events of the PlayStation 2 game Final Fantasy XII. Embarking on a new journey in the land of Ivalice, players will meet new characters, explore uncharted locations and see the return of previous heroes Vaan, Penelo, Fran and Balthier.

Finally, PC owners can battle their way through World War II in Hour of Victory, and those with a Wii can hit the road in Cruis'n.

And, just in case you were wondering, Burnout Paradise was released last week.
