Xbox owners will be further strapped for cash with the Japan-tastic RPG Lost Odyssey and Bizarre Creation's third-person shooter The Club (also available on PC and PS3) hitting shelves. Sci-fi RTS Universe at War: Earth Assault finally lands on PC this Thursday, having been awarded a respectable 7.5 in our review last month.
While mature-aged gamers are spoilt for choice this week, the kids will also be entertained with a number of family-friendly titles being released. After training our eyes and brain, Nintendo is hoping to improve our arithmetic with Professor Kageyama's Maths Training: The Hundred Cell Calculation Method. For something a little more fun, there is Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal on Xbox 360, Wii and PS2, and the budget-priced motorcycle-riding Nitrobike on Wii. Nintendo is also offering the first-party titles Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games on DS and Donkey Kong Barrel Blast on Wii.
UPDATE: Burnout Paradise, originally slated to hit stores next week, was released today (Thursday 7th February). Why not check out our review?
